Tin is an essential trace mineral believed to play a part in our overall health and body processes. Tin is found only in small amounts in human tissue, mostly concentrated in the supra-renal glands, liver, brain, spleen, and thyroid gland. Tin supports the adrenal glands, subsequently affecting the left side of cardiac output. In addition to low vitamin C and/or vitamin B1, low tin is a common nutritional cause of low adrenals, which can lead to left-sided cardiac insufficiency. A two year study indicates tin to have some positive benefits for depression, fatigue, breathing difficulties, pain, skin and digestion.
Functions and benefits of tin:
supports hair growth
enhances reflexes
possible anti-cancer properties
may help treat some cases of insomnia
has been used to treat depression, fatigue, and moodiness, particularly when other treatments have failed
